The Ultimate Celebrity Car Park Showdown has taken home the International Format Award for Best Comedy Format at this year’s ceremony in Cannes. Originally produced by Woestijnvis for Play4 in Belgium, this wonderfully absurd competition show has captured international attention for its creativity, originality, and undeniable global potential.
The format is already making waves far beyond Belgium: a local version has aired in Portugal on TVI, and a Dutch adaptation is set to launch in 2026 on RTL4. In addition, The Ultimate Celebrity Car Park Showdown has been optioned in twelve territories, including the United States and the United Kingdom.
