We Are The World puts itself on the map
The new weekly prime-time quiz from Belgium’s leading production house, Woestijnvis, has been recommissioned for a second series ahead of MIPCOM.
Following the successful launch of Donderen in Keulen, international title We Are The World, Belgian public broadcaster VRT have commissioned the second series for September 2020.
The first series launched with in excess of 1 million viewers, with a 10% increase on slot average and consecutively winning the slot against Dancing with the Stars and Make Belgium Great Again on the commercial channels.
We Are The World tests how much we actually know about the world around us. In each episode 2 contestants will compete with the help of celebrity team mates to win mileage for their own travel. Through 5 rounds in a fun and interactive studio 27 local people from 9 countries around the world will be helping our contestants with their knowledge of the world around them and what we know about them.
