DISCOVERY+ BRINGS THE MOLE BACK TO SWEDEN

Primitives announce the return of adventure competition format The Mole in Sweden. Originally broadcast on Kanal 5 from 2000-2004, “Mullvarden” (local title) will now make its comeback on Discovery+ later this year.

The 8x60 commission is in production in Sweden, produced by Warner Bros International Productions Sweden. The cast of famous Swedes has been announced and includes Anders Lundin, Carina Lidbom and Ellen Bergström. The prize for the person who uncovers the idenity of the Mole is one  million kronor.

The Mole is an award winning format that has been produced in over 20 countries and originated in Belgium in 1998.  The Mole is a gripping reality programme, in which ten contestants go to an unknown destination with the mission of ideniftying which member of their group is the mole, who is out to sabotage the groups efforts. The more contestants know about the Mole, the greater their chances of reaching the final.  The key to success is to trust no one. Because after all, anyone can be The Mole.
