
‘99 TO BEAT’ LANDS IN NORWAY
Hit format ’99 To Beat’ is picked up by Norwegian broadcaster Warner Bros Discovery to be launched this Spring. The Norwegian version, with the local title ‘Sistemann Ut’, will be a celebrity version of the popular game show. The 10x44’ series is produced by Nexiko, who also produced the Swedish series of the format that launched on Discovery Sweden last Fall.
Norway is the 7th territory to produce a local series of the Belgian format, after The Netherlands (8 series - SBS), Germany (2 series - Sat1), Poland (3 series - TTV/Discovery), Sweden (1 series - Discovery) and Belgium (5 series - VRT). Broadcaster Canal Vie in Vietnam will have their first series to tx later this year and new series are in production in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Poland. Primitives has also teamed up with local production companies who picked up the rights in various countries, amongst the UK, Australia, Spain and Italy.
