Each day, three celeb contestants do battle over a series of rounds to discover who is the Smartest of the day. Strategy is the key to success, as questions are wide ranging, and time is always of the essence. The contestants may be asked to list as many sauces to put on chips as possible, or to tell what they know about persons or events in history. At the end of play, the daily winner watches his two opponents battle it out to join him in the next day's heat. The most successful candidates across the series play a final week, and ultimately, only one will earn the right to call themselves the Smartest Person in the World for one whole year.
