Slow TV at its best. Each week six couples who share a passion for delicious food and gardening must transform uncultivated land into a fertile paradise, harvest fish and game and breed their own animals. The couples compete in weekly activities to impress a renowned chef and garden expert, where the finest cook wins a fork and the best farmer a pitchfork.
At the end of the series, the couple that is best at both farming and cooking earns the title of “Masters of The Good Life”. No hard-fought competition, but a warmhearted format about the good things in life.
